Orca Online is a small but rapidly-growing digital marketing agency based in Littlehampton, West Sussex. We work with SME’s to deliver the digital marketing services that they need to help their business succeed.
We are looking for a capable Online Marketing Executive to help us and our clients across a collection of digital areas including Updating and improving Websites, Social media, Email marketing, Blogging, Search Engine Content. For the above areas you will be able to research, learn, and assist with strategy, delivery, and reporting.
This role is ideal for someone with existing Marketing agency (or in-house) experience who is looking to broaden and further their career.
You will work closely with our Search and Web team leaders, along with the Managing Director to create and deliver effective strategies to clients in a broad range of industries and sectors.
Important Role Related Skills
- 12 months + Digital & Online Marketing Experience in Agency, or Industry
- Marketing campaign execution and implementation experience
- Experience in WordPress, Website Marketing and Social Media Marketing
- Effective social media content creation and page management.
- Ability to use, understand, report, and suggest action using tools such as Google Analytics / SEMrush
- An excellent communicator, with the ability to write, edit and repurpose engaging content for digital publication (in English).
Desirable Role & Personal Skills:
- Google Certifications (or Equivalent) – Search & Online Marketing
- Experience with Google Tag Manager & Search Console
- Ability to write content for varying audiences
- Experience in preparing and scheduling email marketing campaigns (MailChimp / other)
- Social Media Advertising - Facebook Business Suite
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A passion for how digital marketing and ‘the web’ can be applied in a commercial environment
- An understanding of website design, trends, and functionality
- A desire to learn and become a key part of our agency future
